Hasta Mañana Cantina

First, quality food is served here. This is no one of those hit or miss in the gas lamp. Food is crafted and pack with flavor. The owner is not improvising. I loved the details, portion sizes and preparation. Everything we ordered was 4 to 5 stars. The place is nice with in-out door seating. Competitive prices for the area. 4 stars for the slow“ service. Anastasia was on top of her game, but it was obviously too many people for one server. I would def recommend it and I am coming back for more.

Got myself a margarita and a skirt steak carne asada taco as a midday snack during their happy hour. Pretty solid.

Great looking place with cool art on the wall and a bar in the center. There is lots of seating. We just had happy hour drinks. Spicy Margarita was spicy and my wife had a draft beer and a rum and coke. She liked both. Ceviche was good with avocado and mahi mahi and spicy. Service was fast and courteous. I would go again for lunch or dinner.

Hasta Mañana Cantina was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious — the steak tacos were the highlight of the meal, perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients and put care into every dish. The atmosphere was lively and full of great energy, with colorful decor and upbeat music that made the whole dining experience fun and memorable. The staff were also fantastic — friendly, welcoming, and always checking in to make sure everything was perfect. Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner, drinks with friends, or a spot to enjoy authentic Mexican food in a vibrant setting, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area!

We were here over the last week in a half while a big convention was going on and this was the place to be. The staff was on top of everything, the drinks were flowing, the food was delicious and overall the atmosphere was awesome. The staff didn't mind us hanging out and relaxing which was awesome! We came back for 5 days straight to the point where we were beginning to feel like family. Going to make sure I come here every time I swing by San Diego!

Stopped in for some lunch with the co-workers. It was not busy around 11:30am. We were seated immediately. Within the next 30-45 minutes the place started to fill up for the lunch crowd. They offer a pretty good variety of dishes. Pretty large portions. I had the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap. It came with tortilla chips. I only ate half and took the rest to go. Very filling. The service was a bit lagging. Perhaps short staffed. We ordered salsa from our server but didn't receive it. So we tried the hostess. That did not work either. So we reminded our server again. Third time was a charm. Same thing with my to go box. I asked him twice but did not receive it. My co-worker was able to pick one up for me near the hostess area. He did not seem be forgetful when it was time to collect paymemt that's for sure. By the time he got me a box we were already walking out from the restaurant. Next time we will sit at the bar instead. The food is good. The customer service needs some assistance.

First trip to San Diego. Hasta Mañana Cantina was perfect! Great drinks, great food, great music, beautiful decor! AMAZING STAFF! Overall great atmosphere! Definitely stop by if you are in the Gaslamp District.

Great service and delicious margaritas! Nice shaded spot in the afternoon to sit outside and enjoy the day. Waiter was kind enough to offer a list of his favorite restaurants and places in the city as well.
